Origins Update
It's been a busy few days. Tedd and I have sold many games, hats, flying chickens, sin wristbands etc. I have been interviewed 3 times and only wanted to kill a small child once. I have bought many presents for people, and today picked up two gorgeous batik "sarongs" which will make lovely booth covering cloths - and sashes for my dressier days. Yes I have them, 2 or 3 a year.
Last night I attended most of the Smithee Awards:

I was proud to do my part and vote, but a bit disconcerted by how many of these movies I've seen, and most especially, own. I LIKED Zarkor the Invader and don't feel it should have been up for a Smithee. At least it didn't win. The Spacehunter nomination (and win) was for Best One Liner so that's not so bad. Cyborg II - well that's Ray's movie. I just watched it once! Honest! Worst movie went to Catman: Lethal Track.
Today Tedd closed up the booth for me so I could make a screening of an adorable little indy movie called Love and Plutonium. It was a fun superhero spoof - sort of a very low budget Mystery Men. I enjoyed it. For more info see it's IMDB entry:

After the movie Tedd and I FINALLY made it to the Happy Greek where he got his flaming cheese dish that he likes so much. I thought about gaming, going to the VIP party, or hanging with friends but I'm pretty bushed so here I am at the laptop in the hotel room. I could still go to that party after a rest, but I'm thinking not. Tomorrow will be a busy sales day AND packout with Tedd already at the airport by the time packout rolls around so I'll be doing that solo. Oh, and driving home solo the next day. Rest seems like a good idea.
Oh, except werewulf just called about hanging out so that might happen now. But if it does we'll be doing it here in the room so I'm still a little on the done side.
